E-commerce Sales Manager

About the role:



The E-commerce Sales Manager at Jabu is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's e-commerce sales operations. Driving the digitization of orders will be at the core of our company’s growth. This person will work closely with the sales and product teams to ensure that the company's e-commerce platform is effective and efficient, and that customer experience is optimized.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the company's e-commerce platform, including product upload, offerings and promotions.
  • Ensuring that the e-commerce platform is optimized for search engines, mobile devices, and customer experience, and making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Being accountable for e-commerce sales targets weekly.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement sales campaigns to drive traffic and sales to the e-commerce platform.
  • Managing customer service and support for the e-commerce platform, including every single order placed, dispatched and fulfilled.
  • Analyzing data and metrics related to e-commerce performance, including traffic, conversion rates, sales, and customer satisfaction, and making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and innovations in e-commerce, and identifying new opportunities to grow and enhance the company's e-commerce business.
  • Developing and implementing processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and returns, and payment processing.
  • Resolving all returned and canceled orders to drive sales figures and optimal delivery rates.
  • Developing daily and weekly sales reports, and host meetings to guide operational efficiency with all departments.
  • Managing budgets and resources for the e-commerce business, including staffing, technology, and marketing expenses.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in e-commerce operations and management, with a proven track record of success in optimizing platform performance and driving sales.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics related to e-commerce performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Excellent customer service and support skills, with experience in managing customer inquiries and complaints, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve common goals, and a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce technologies and platforms, including search engine optimization, mobile optimization, and payment processing.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and innovations in e-commerce, and the ability to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and opportunities in the market.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and resources, and the ability to effectively allocate resources to drive business growth.
