Dispatch Coordinator # Reporting: Distribution Manager

Duties:

  • Work closely with the internal and external teams to arrange and drive our fulfillment services
  • Provide dispatch reports to the Distribution Manager
  • Prepare and give detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management, focused on improving distribution times and associated impacts
  • Represent the department in City Management meetings
  • Analyze and improve JABU’s delivery cycle and processes
  • Plans shipments as per new orders, vehicle capacity, and route
  • Conduct shipment briefings and debriefings for Fulfillment Agents
  • Accommodate collection orders and Warehouse sales
  • Report on improvements and suggestions within your functional area
  • Update customer details in the system

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transport Management, or relevant field. A degree will be an added advantage
  • 2+ years experience in warehousing or logistics
  • Ability to work well in a team, as well as to manage and motivate others
  • Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think creatively and logically
  • Skills in data analysis, including working with electronic data
  • Ability to plan ahead and deal with unexpected changes
