Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Support of the HR office
  • To deal with employees' problems and questions in a confidential manner.
  • Answer routine question, distribute and explain forms to employees such as company’s code of conduct and ethics, policies and procedures
  • Create reports for the HR Officer in order to create solutions for employees and managers.
  • Prepare, process, and review a variety of documents
  • Type variety of documents in drafts and final form
  • Proofread materials for correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Assist in processing unemployment verifications
  • Assist on onboarding and offboarding process
  • Assist in administering employees benefit program and activities
  • Schedule meetings, sort/distribute mail, and maintain departmental files
  • Maintain HR department supplies and process invoice for payment
  • Support the recruitment process
  • Understand and implement oral and written instructions
  • Communicate updates to superiors orally and in writing
  • Establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with those contacted during the course of work operations
  • Perform any other task or function as assigned by the employer.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field
  • +2 year of experience as HR clerk minimum
  • Must have knowledge of Namibian Labor Laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Local languages are a plus
  • Organizational and analytical skills are a must
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the use of resume databases or HRMS is also useful for the position
  • IT Literacy
  • High emotional IQ
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Naturally friendly , reliable , confident and capable of taking initiative
